Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Talk with other Navy Moms....we need each others advise, encouragement and knowledge.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:

Hey Linda!
I have not heard from you in a while and wanted to catch up on where Tess is and how things are going? Daniel is finally on his ship! He's loving it! I have his email address if Tess is interested in getting in touch. Dan's been all over this past year, going from Great Lakes to Pensacola, back to Great Lakes and then to San Diego. His home port is Pearl Harbor Hawaii and I'm thinking he will be there another two yrs or so. He did come home about a month ago for a two wk stay and it was great to have him home after being gone a little over a year.
Let me know how you are doing too! How are things at work?
Hope to hear back from you soon!
Hugs!

Hi, Angela found out she is going to Key West Fl. she will be coming home around middle of April. She ended up as the leader of her group and 3rd or 4th in her group. I'am so proud of her. But now since she is going to another place she will have to meet new friends and people but she can do it. It's just the 1st part of going in that is a little scary. Japan came up but the guy in front of her grab that one. She will be in Key West for 2 yrs and then well we'll see then.
Hope Tess is doing good. I know what you mean about planning to go see them. We will have to see when we can go down. Well take care and God bless our kids.

Hey Linda!

I have not written in a while and wanted to see how you are all doing? How's Tess? Where is she now? Dan is back up in Great Lakes for ATT (advanced tech training) then off to San Diego in a few months.
Also, how is work? Are you still working from home? Hope all is well with you guys. I know you have seen our stock price and you must be wondering what is going on with us.
I hope you get this email and will write to me. Write me at home if you like. My home email is Lynbeverleyowens@aol.com

Hope to hear from you!

Hugs!

Hey Linda!
I had left you another message on this site, but I had to remove it because I put Dan's phone number on it and I just read where we cannot do that for the safety of our Sailors.
Just wanted to say hello and also tell you that Daniel still has Tess' cell phone number, so he is going to try to give her a call.
Let me know how you are doing.
Hope all is well.

You are so sweeet Linda, thanks for being there for me through all this. Ty ordered, get this, $300 worth of video, keel and pictures, so I am probably covered. lol He didn't get to walk, but at least he's better and back on track for A school. Ty said that he might have 3 weeks off in Dec thru Christmas, so unless he knows for sure he gets a long weekend before that, we'll probably just let him use the flight voucher to come home, instead of him having to to take hoppers. He called today, but didn't leave a message. I have his new address and can't wait to talk with him again. I'm glad Tessie is (kinda) close to you, I bet it makes it easier. She's also really good about letting you know what's going on. Ty's just not that way... must be a boy thing :) Yes, yes, yes, keep in touch, in fact I have your Panter e-mail address, I'll use that. ~Michele

Yes, I just found out that he did, indeed graduate with the division, just like Tessie said. He's across the street in A School for AECF as of today. He passed the PFT's last Thurs or Fri (bc couldn't remember which day) and went thru b/s last night and sent to A school today. We still haven't heard from him, but our recruiter did all the calling. I wasn't going to leave his office until I had an address to write to him and we were getting the run-around until today. Now, he's going to be pulled out of class soon and call the recruiter first, then me. We both have a good chewing-out to give him for not letting us know where and what he was doing. I might have missed the PIR, but at least he's back on track and didn't have to wait around for another A school to start. I think I have 14 new gray hairs... at least 2 for each day last week. Everyone's prayers were heard. I'm so thankful. Thank you for asking about him and all your calls. Please let Tessie know I a ppreciated her insight on Ty. Keep in touch... let me know where Tessie gets to go for A school, I don't think I ever knew. ~Michele
