Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:

You are most welcome! My new year is starting off busy busy busy, but that's fine with me! My son leaves on the 9th for his first 7 month deployment, his ship is in San Diego and I'm in VA so I don't get to see him off..... going to try to keep myself busy w/my daughter's wedding arrangements (she is getting married on the 16th) so I don't think about it too much!

Take care and God bless!

Thank You Lani for accepting me as a friend. I am overwhelmed with the move but tonight I am taking it slow and bringing in the new year with my husband and we plan on toasting to my son. My son called me and said; Mom I bought you a present for Christmas but I will not send it through the mail due to having others using my address. I can't believe there is people out there who do that. Even though it's not their address at all. I have explained this to my postal worker. He has been very good about leaving the right mail in my box but the weekend postal workers seem not to care. So I won't get my present until I see my son in Vegas. He told me what he bought me. I was in awwwww. I really mena awwwwww. Because he has been the only one in my life to buy me special gifts. Like last year he bought me a video cam and the year before that a digital cam. Now he is buying me jewelry. A Saphire and Diamond necklace. From K-Y jeweliers. I couldn't ask for anyone else in my life. He is my strebght and my wisdom. I know God gave me a son who I could look up to and admire. He feels my heart with so much love that I am so proud of being his mom.
I want to say; I know how mom's feel for their son's and how they feel for their mom's. We are here to teach and love them and I am proud of all of our men and women out there serving our country and protecting us from harm. I will pray this evening for our troops to come home and that they are safe and healthy and happy through out this year and the rest of their years.
Thank You Lani, for adding me once again and thank you son for being apart of protecting our country. God Bless you.

Michelle, JT's Mom
