That's Fantastic! Congratulations to your son. Dan developed some kind of cyst on this upper thigh in Bootcamp. They didn't want to set him back there so they waited. They thought it might just go away with ointment, but he needed it cut out...ouch.…

Oops! you asked how was our time after graduation. It was really wonderful, what time we had. It took forever to get ready anytime we went anywhere because there was 4 of us getting ready in a motel room and the baby takes up a lot of time and the layers and layers of clothes, etc. but once we did get out of there what we did have time to do was really nice. We went to Outback for dinner that night and Jared looked so handsome in his dress blues we did not have to wait because he is a Sailor and he got a free drink. He paid for dinner, that was nice for a change! The next day we went to Chicago by train ride we caught it right across from NTC and it was an hour ride. Once there we didn't have a car seat so we couldn't take a cab so we found a bus that took us to the tourist part of the city. We wanted to find good Chicago Pizza and we were directed to Paisano's and it was great, then we went to Bacci's for gellato and biscotti for desert. Then it was getting dark so we had to catch the train back. The baby and I stayed at the motel and Jared and Sarah went to the Gurnee-Mills Mall and Jared bought Sarah some clothes. That night is when he got so sick and his back was killing him. I felt soo bad for him, and then I had to drop him off the next morning and it was so cold and he had a long walk to his apartment with a fever and all. It was really hard to leave him again and the next week once home it was all I could do not to cry thinking about how sick he was and the pain he was in with his back, but now he is better and feeling good. Thank God! And he has that wonderful positive and confident spirit back.

Wow, yeah Jared did say at Graduation that he knew a guy named Dan and we wondered if it was your son. He said early yesterday when I talked to him that they were on their way on the Train to Chicago to spend the evening and he was going to try to take them to a restaurant we ate at that had awesome Italian food and Chicago Pizza called Paisano's and a really cool waiter. I think he was with his roommates. I keep asking him for his address. He doesn't know what it is. It must be Ship 17 something along with his apartment no. Hopefully he tells me tonight. I will see who he went to Chicago with last night. Maybe Dan was with him! I would love to get together and was wondering when Central Florida Navy Moms was going to get together next. This month I'm kind of booked up, I had facial clients yesterday and one today and on Presidents Day I'm off but have another facial client and then Valentines weekend I also have one on Sat. and one on Sun, then the next weekend I have dinner guests coming on Sat the 21st, but nothing on that Sun. But, the next weekend I'm supposed to get my friend and her Grandson into Disney, my sister works there. My sister lives in Orlando between the airport and OBT. She is very nervous about the news about the girl being obducted and raped walking to school, because my niece also walks to school in that area of town. Not good. Isn't it really nice to be able to talk to Dan anytime now. What a comfort to know he is a phone call away. Talk to you after I talk to Jared again about Dan.

Hi Laura!

Of course I will help your daughter! My personal e-mail is gmontressor@hotmail.com. Have her e-mail me and we will get started!

Eric is still at GL - they goofed up some medical paperwork, so he won't leave for Goose Creek, SC until Saturday. He said it was awful to watch his division get on a bus and leave and he was still there. But he should be on his way on Saturday and starting classes on Monday. Now the mental hard work starts - Nuke school is supposed to be really hard!

Take care and let me know how I can help!

Laura, I met you at the meet n greet Thurs. night-right? It's hard because I don't see your picture here. I didn't realize you were so close to me! We live in Belle Isle (near the airport). Where is your son now-what is he studying? Justin is in PNS in the IT program.
