Some people have the new houses, but we got an old one, built in the 60's. It's just the luck of the draw. Almost everyone has a 3 bedroom house here, that's what they have available en mass...I don't even know if they have any that are smaller, bec…

Okay, I think this needs to be said: just talk to him. Ask him (you can ask him without being pushy) if he still plans on marrying you, and what he wants you to do in the future to accommodate his Navy career. He can give you better support than we…

Profile Information

About me:
I got married to Brad July 2008, and we have a beautiful baby boy who was born in December. All of Brad's previous employers misled him into thinking that he had a more stable job than he really did, saying that it was a long-term job instead of a summer job and things like that, so he joined the Navy to get some financial stability. I've always wanted to be a stay-at-home mother, so it's a pretty good deal for me.

Brad and I will move to SC where he will be attending the Navy Nuclear Power School for 2 years very soon.
I am here to support or represent my:
Spouse/Significant other
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

That's good to know. Thanks, I am a person who likes to plan everything so it's driving me crazy. But I guess I have to get used to not having plans always going as scheduled :)

That's awesome. After your husband graduated boot camp, how long did it take for him to come home and get you so you could move? Just wondering. My husband said he has to go to SC then they'll tell him to come get us.

Please get to the doctor. Remember you want to go to PIR.You need to feel great. Think of your sailor who wants you feelin & lookin great. Take care of yourself. It's really hard on you at PIR. Once your there everything is fast paced. You need to be in shape. Please take care of yourself.

aww! Kai just turned 3 months two days ago! Have you decided what you're going to do at PIR about a stroller or something like that? I think I'm going to get a sling and keep Kai in it during the ceremony. I don't want to bother trying to get a stroller around that crowd! Hope to see you at the meet n greet in 11 days!!! Yay! We are almost down to single digits! Talk to you soon
