About me:
My Boyfriend, George, graduated BT 9/5, and from A-school in gulfport, MS 11/7. Currently stationed in Little Creek, VA.

He's a seabee ♥ steel worker. HOORAH!
I am here to support or represent my:
George
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Was confused, Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
STAY STRONG! He needs you. I've learned not to count on much, and I've learned to accecpt things that I cannot change. Take it all in, don't make it harder than it has to be. I realize that I may only see him a few weeks a year, but those times together make being apart worth it. I'd rather have those few weeks with him than spend the entire year with somone I didn't love, reguardless of who could always be there for me. It's worth it.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer

Lea: Just dropping in to say hello and see how you're doing. Cory is still stationed in Little Creek. He shipped out Wednesday....I don't even know where they were headed. Thinks he'll be back sometime toward the end of January. He was home for a week in November. I'm going to try to get to Virginia the end of February for a short visit. If you get a chance, dtop me a line.

Lea: Haven't heard a word from you in a long time....how are you doing?? Talked with Cory yesterday....he thinks he'll be off on another Navy "adventure" in November. That means he'll be gone for Thanksgiving, his 21st birthday and Christmas. I don't mind missing the holidays so much, that's just part of military life.....but his 21st birthday is going to be a hard one....we always had big celebrations for his older brothers! Drop me a line when you have a chance.

Lea! Hi! its been a while since I was in the site. Every time I come to the library to use the computer I have so much email that Inevr get enough time to read it all. I just wanted to update you. Matt and Jessica had some bad news a couple of weeks ago. They went to the Dr.s for their ultra sound to find out what the baby's sex was and found out that its brain was not developing right. Its called Anecephaly, a lack of folic acid in the mother during the first 26 weeks. It happens in about one in 150,000 pregnancies.
The baby would not survive to be born, however if it did go that far the chances of living are 0. They decided to terminate before it was too late to do so. They went to University of Virginia and had it done. I just wanted to let you know in case you happen to have a chance to meet them (I hope you do). Matt spent this week with Jessie since he will be leaving for Greece on Saturday. It is hard enough living 160 miles from them I would love to move there so that Jessie would not be so alone.
Hope you are doing well. Jessie will be down in NC while Matt is away and then they will be looking for their own place when he gets back.

Lea: Hang in there and keep me posted. This is a hard one. I lost 2 babies when I was in my 20's. Wound up adopting my 2 oldest boys, then at the ripe OLD AGE of 38 became pregnant with Cory!!! There is just no way to make this any better for you....but I can tell you that you will survive if you lose this pregnancy.....you will never forget, but you will go on. I'm glad George is due in soon. That will help some....would you guys PLEASE just get married so you can be together!! I'll be on my knees praying that things turn around for you. Wish I lived closer to you.
