My sailor...well he isn't really mine. Ryan has been my best friend since the 7th grade. He is a Naval Aviator. He is currently stationed on the GW and is part of the Carrier Airwing Five. He is a member of the Golden Dragons, and flies F/18's. In all reality I seem to get more information from his Mom than I do him. He has never been one for many words. But when I do hear from him I am so happy. He knew what he wanted to do since he was a kid. He went through a lot to make his dream a reality, and no matter what obsticle he faced, he found a way to work it out. I am so extremely proud of his service and the service of all of our brave soldiers and sailors.
And with a Mom like you, I am sure Justin is just as driven and although this accident may be a set back for him, I am sure it will all work out. Please let me know if I can help in anyway. And I pray for the day that we can all be reunited with the people that we love! xoxoxo
I loved the poem. My son's PIR is 1/30. Would you mind sharing that poem with me by sending it to my e-mail?

Yes, I am missing Jacob terribly as usual, but I know he is happy to get back to "normal". He was sick the whole time here but was nice to have him home so I could mother him. He did get to go with his dad and sister to see his grandfather way out of town who was having heart surgery. I didn't have him for 5 days out of the 14. He stayed home the whole time including New Year's Eve excewpt to go snowboarding one day with friends. Since being back he has found out his going to the USS Lssen is on hold :) and he will be going to Okinawa to Kadena Air FOrce Base soon for about 16 days on DET. He said about 30 guys are going. Have you heard whether Justin is going?
