Hey leisa Marie, I believe we chatted along time ago. I remember the photo of your sons looking so Navy proud! I see you have an ET in the works and wanted to stop by and welcome you to AECF group. Our son is an FC and he left GL in January and is now off to his C school. His dad was also an FC for 10 years as well. You will find alot of great support in the group.

About me:
I am the wife of a Sailor. I met my Hubby Derek Sr. while he was serving in the U.S. Navy as a legalman. My husband served 14 yrs (8 yrs active and 6 yrs reserve). He is now a disabled veteran. And TODAY I am the PROUD NAVY MOM of 2. The three men in my immediate family are United States Navy Men!!! :o) I am trully Blessed!!

The Greatest Joy in my life has been being and continues to be a MOM!

Lemuel (DIV 072) graduated from Bootcamp on January 23rd, 2009 and he in now enrolled in the Corpman A School at Great Lakes, IL. After graduated his A school he heads to the FMF.
Derek II (DIV 103) graduated from Bootcamp on February 13th, 2009 and is now on hold in Great Lakes, IL. Once he starts his A school he will be enrolled in the ET program.
Attending their PIR's was one of the most proud filled, remarkable, rewarding experiences I've had the pleasure of being apart of!!!

I am very thankful they are both together right now. They both love the choice they made in becoming United States Navy Men.

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
To trust in their judgement, to be patient, to pray for their guidance.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
