Just wanted to drop a note and wish you a Merry Christmas! Hopefully you 'll get to see your sailor over the holidays. Mine will be away (first Christmas without him) but he's going to spend it with a high school buddy (also Navy) stationed in San Fran. Nearly family, right?
I was at a Hyatt holiday party today. Ran into Pam Dudley, Cozette Langenkamp, and Christina Rosales. Saw Kathy Casarez at another event two days ago. It's been like a State Bar old home week. :)

I think they filled out a questionnare on preferred assignments about a month ago (which obviously may be of interest to the Navy but may have little relevance to what they actually do). Dylan is about a month away from completing A school, which is when he found out where he will be assigned.

Hi! Just sharing our exciting news ... Dylan got his soft orders and will be on the USS Ronald Reagan (aircraft carrier homeport San Diego) when he finishes A school ... probably early-to-mid October. Hope he gets to come home between school and duty. What's the word on JT these days?

I did get to see Dylan earlier this month. I was in Washington, D.C. for our national convention and he was able to have dinner with me Friday night and spend the night Saturday. But I still haven't seen him in his uniform ...
