A lesson learned from my young daughter. When looking at airfare online, always delete cookies or the price will keep going up because it recognizes you from the last time you inquired.

Hi again,
Just googled "Navy Lodge Great Lakes" and the web site pulled up. It does say that a reservation is required 60 days in advance. But the lodge is so close to the base. It did not list cost, but you can call them to find out. The phone number is listed. Take care,
Kate

Hey Linda,
Glad to hear from you. I work at Fort Worth Heart. We are a 10 physican cardiology group with 4 locations. I work at the downtown office. I do several jobs, I check pacemakers, scan holter reports, and download event recorders. I spent 6 years in the hospital and was very burnt out. I love working in a doctors office. I have been at FWH a little over 5 years now. By the way did you know that there is a Nurse/Navy mom group? You can find it under the "groups" page.
You have several options of where you want to stay at GL. We stayed at a Holiday Inn near the base. We didn't know about the Navy Lodge at the time. As I understand, the Navy Lodge is close, very nice, and well priced. You should be able to find it online. Also watch for other moms to post a pre-PRI get together on the events page. Please let me know if I can help in any way. I have requested you on my friends list. Have a great day.

Linda,
Welcome aboard. I live in Fort Worth and I am an LVN also. My sailor graduated in June 07 and is stationed in Washington state.
You can go online to southwest airlines and check out the flights into Midway. We drove to Chicago to see graduation. Southwest flies out of Love Field. If you need a ride, let me know. I would be more than happy to drop you off and pick you up. No need to pay for parking. Let me know. I have requested you on my friend list. Have a great day.

Hi, Welcome to Navy for Mom’s. You will find lots of support, advice, information, and friends here!! All you have to do is read, read, read!!

I would like to invite you to join the group of moms from Texas!! We are the largest state group on this site!! (Everything is bigger in Texas - including Navy Moms)!! We reached 500 members on February 12, 2009. We were one year old on March 8, 2009!!!

Just go to the groups tab and type in Texas in the search box. The icon of the group is the state of Texas, of course!! If you can’t find that, click on my picture to the left and it will take you to my page. You can find the same icon there. Just click on it and you can join us!!

Please leave a short message about where you live and what your sailor is doing. Also, please let us know how you found Navy for Moms.

My sailor son, Derek, is a MA (Master at Arms) - He is now stationed in Portsmouth, Virginia.
