Same here. I am worried now becasue last week, Jon sent us an email saying he's participating in the I & A program (Iraq and Afghanistan). He hasn't responded to all the emails my husband and I have been sending him. There's nothing we can really do, but I am so unsettled about this.

Hi, Linda. My son is also a MM on the Nimitz. I'd love to connect with other moms whose sailors might know my son. He hasn't been very happy and I am worried about how he might be spending his time (he tends to be a loner). Hi Linda, glad you heard from Steve. It sure does make our day. I did finally notice that I had the password right in front of me. I was too anxious to view it and didn't pay attention. Justin didn't have his "cover" on. Wonder if they had a choice. I like his BC picture better but is nice to see the extra stuff on his uniform. Thanks.

Hi Linda I'm glad he called...... it makes your day doesn't it. yep you never know they might know each other already. Jonathan is still TAD so he's working in supply for the Mess Deck. It's fun visiting another country and getting to know their customs. He visited Malls and different stores ................to get a feel of the place. He too says had lots of fun.

Thanks for the note, Linda. It was really tough to read that the sailors were all being given phone time, and it only made me wonder if he's already used his, who did he call? I sent him a package and wonder if he got that too.

Hi Linda he will call. I thought Jonathan was going to call yesterday, but couldn't get to a phone and the long lines were every. I know the feeling as a Mom, and it's not reassuring until we hear his/her voice..............Where does your son work on the ship? Maybe they already know each other.....take care.
