Linda,
I was catching up on he Nimitz group comments and noticed your comment to the gal (don't remember her name) who was going to the fashion show for her niece and other special needs kids. You said your oldest was born with Down Syndrome. My youngest was born with Down syndrome. My oldest is my 23 yr old son on the Nimitz and my daughter who is 7 is ds. I always love to meet other families with DS children. How old is your son and what does he like to do?
We are in Austin and volunteered last year at a ranch for adults with Down syndrome. It was a great experience. May I add you as a friend?

Linda, I haven't dropped you a line in a while and I wanted to check in on you. I hope you
are doing well. Is Peyton growing like a weed and being so cute. Have you heard from
Jason recently Michaels email from yesterday was telling me he has been moved to
the flight deck but is still attached to his shop AIMD. He loves it he has been in that
shop for 3 years he doesn't know what its like to get to be out in the clear blue
sky and sun everyday. I told him it must really be a rush to be up there with the
take offs and landings. He said he got to see dolphins while they were changing tires
on one of their tractors. He sounded very excited he said he didn't think he would
want to be up there but now that he is he is glad. So I don't know for how long neither
does he. Its his last cruise so now he will be able to say he got to work in all areas.
I told him to live it up and enjoy life this is your last world tour give yourself a break
and take time to take it all in. So hope all is well with you and the family take care
look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Sam

Linda, I know you said you would be out tonight. I have sent a message to Judy to
see if she has a total count for the AIMD division of what the 4 of us had covered.
I am sure I will hear from Judy but if I don't do you know.

Yes I figure he should be well by the time they get to port. Which is good
he is one of those no matter how sick he is he will run himself into the
ground. I appreciate the prayers. I am sorry to hear the kids are so sick.
Hopefully it will pass soon. That would be wonderful for him to be able
to skpe and see his family and his new son. I am hoping to hear from
Michael tommrow and that he is on the mend. Take care and have a good
day. And I will talk to you later. Have a great day!
