I've had multiple people tell me to tell my sons thanks for serving. When they're in uniform, everywhere we go, people come up and thank them. It's very heartwarming for this mom who misses her sons all the time!
I am in mid-Missouri. My mom was a wonderful seamstress. She made all my clothes when I was little and even as a teen. I can't say I've reached her level of expertise yet but I'm trying!! I've gotten distracted from garment making and into quilting…
Hi Lisa:
Let me encourage you! Your wonderful son put forth an effort and got a good start in life. That speaks volumes about the kind of son he is. I am sure if he is released he will still have the desire to go forward with other interests. His l…

My son will be graduating from power school April 10. We're planning a vacation around going to the graduation and the following week. Only 2-1/2 more weeks!
The Navy is trying to help him by putting him on LIMDU and getting him medical treatment. Just because your son thinks he will be discharged doesn't mean he will be, that is up to the Navy.
I removed it - thanks for the tip.
He just got orders for LIMDU and is told he has to wait 6 months for a physical to determine his ability to remain in the Navy. He believes he'll be medically discharged. Seems like a long time to wait to be discha…
