Thanks for the welcome and info! Danny doesn't get to leave until February but I am already nervous about it... He is so excited he can hardly stand it! He is at his first DEP meeting as we speak; I'm anxious to hear all about it when he gets home. Did I read you have a son who is on a sub? What does he do?

- Did you get any of the bad weather? We had a tornado hit about 10 miles from our house. It did a lot of damage to local camp grounds...no one was badly hurt. Have you heard from you guy? I haven't since they've been out.

- Well, I just cancelled Jeff & Liam's flight home! Jeff said they have been promised a week off after ORSE is over. So we will try again in a couple of weeks. How are you doing?

- I have spoken to Jeff and if things go well with 'ORSE' (big engineering inspection) next week that he should be coming to see me May 5th... but if they don't go well......He may not get to come. :(

- Lisa : Sorry I haven't written but I just opened a restaurant so my free time is very limited. Its keeping me busy and keeps me from thinking so much about my little boy out there floating around. Brendan is a TM ....( Torpedo Man )....when these guys qualify for their dolphins ( fish ) not only they need to know their own job but need to be able to fill in at any other job that they may need, so you basically need to know every inch of the boat inside and out. Bren is so determined to qualify and get them done this time out. I didn't want to discourage him but doing all of this with his father I know there is not enough time out for him to complete it.....who knows though, the kid has surprized me before. Like the time he came home and told me he had joined the Navy. I have to admit I was a mess. Cried for days. Brendan is the most unbelieveable musician and I felt that he joined for the wrong reasons. Plus, I've been in the Navy, I know whats going to happen and I told him it wasn't for him and tried to get him out of it. I couldn't. So off to boot camp he went. To make a long story short he is only 19 and has his whole life in front of him.I am very very proud of him. He graduated at the top of his class and he will be a good sailor. His dad was a nuke on the Rickover. He now works at a power plant in PA. Someone called Brens GF and told her that the boat had a schedule change and would be getting back to her. I have no idea what that is about. I asked karen and she hasn't heard anything. I am only 5 hours from Groton and still have family there so when the boat gets home, I will be there. I may jump on my motorcycle is the weather is good. It would be a nice ride.....Take care and gotta get cooking for tonight, I open @ 3pm.....Maggie
