About me:
Mom of three and my husband is retired from the Army after 25 years of service. Enjoy my work as a nursing home administrator and raising our two small children! My son is curently in San Antonio, Texa. He leaves for two years in Guam in February.

Was proud, Was relieved
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
It is okay to support our kids even though we don't want them to ever leave. He has learned so much and had experiences that are PRICELESS!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was a maturing experience, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Hi Lisa, I saw that your son graduated the same day Micky did, he was in division 016. Maybe they know each other. Mic is a tall redhead (was the tallest in the group) seriously stuck out like a sore thumb, and had the nickname serial killer. LOL that is what his picture made him look like. Micky is in ATT school up north and will be up there till about Oct. Then I am not sure where he will end up. Wish your son well for me and God Bless.

I am so excited for you and your family. I spoke with my son Rusty tonight and he is hoping to get a leave for Christmas. He sent me his new address. I hope to get to talk to him more know that he is in A-school. He is already there but I do not think it actually starts until after Thanksgiving. I would love to hear about JR. Tell him Thank you and your husband too.

Welcome aboard!!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!

Hey Lisa
I noticed you are a new Navy Mom too. Congratualtions. My son will be going to A School after Thanksgiving as well. He told me at graduation that I will have to mail this stuff to hom after A School started. I will let you know when I find out for sure.
