Profile Information

About me:
I"m married, and have three kids all grown with families except my son who is a sailor of the U.S. of America. I am a very proud Navy Mom. I am a member of the Fl. Navy Mom's Organization and I've made friends with a wonderful group of ladies. I would like to get to know more mom's who live in South Florida who have son's/and dtgrs in the Navy as well. Please feel free to drop me a line. My son has been in the Navy 4 yrs now and loving it every day.
I am here to support or represent my:
Jose
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted, Overseas
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Coping with the fact that he was not going to be living at home any more. That was the hardest for me. Also knowing that my son had made the best decision on his own to join the military.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Recruitment Job

I"m excited because Jose got the job he was hoping for!
He will be recruiting in NYC for three years.......yes!
He wanted either Miami or NYC but there were no availabilities for Miami, so
Ny it was! Back to his roots.

I can't beleive my son has accomplished so much in the Navy. I am so proud
of my son. He's come a very looong way in the last 4 years.

I keep praying that God stays with him in every step of this long journey ahead
of him.

Elizabeth, here is what I posted last week. Luis

Dear friends, I want to apologize in the tardiness for getting back to you on the sites related to working from home. My wife is working on some of these sites and she has so far been employed by www.west@home.com. She is currently doing her training. As I mentioned before my wife has been ill for quite some time yet has felt good enough to help me out. I hope that these sites will help out. My wife and I are also researching a certain travel company and I will let you know if this works out. Thanks again and God Bless. Luis

Please don't forget to keep my daughter in your prayers. Elizabeth (not my Navy kid) is having a biopsy done next Thursday. They found a little tumor on her right breast and I am asking God that it is nothing bad. Eli is 17 years of age. Thanks again and God Bless.

Elizabeth it's good to hear from you especially since we are neighbors. My wife who is a Living Saint has suffered for many years from Chronic Pain and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. She has tried to work in the field but she just can't do it. This is why she is trying to work from home and believe me we need it. I will send you what I posted last week and I hope that it helps you. Take good care and God Bless. Luis

Navy Moms Live in Each Others Hearts, just like Family..

Navy Moms walk through life together,
whether they life close or far apart, They
know that the other one is there... to share
the highs and the lows and everything else.

Navy Moms are connected at the heart,
and their commitment to their friendship
is permanent. They believe in each other.
They are sensitive and supportive, and
they can talk about things they may not
even talk to their families about. Each of
them knows the other will understand, no
matter what.

Navy Moms aren't afraid to break the
rules, defend each other, and go out
of their way. They've cried together
and laughed together, and they have
been there when it mattered. Their
loyalty is strong and lasting, and
their bond is unquestionable and
unconditional. They know that
they'll keep on being there through
everything life has in store for them.

No one can take the place of a Navy Mom,
they are sisters and always live in our heart...
just like family...
