- Hello, my name is Dan. I'm not a navy mom but i just joined the navy in the delayed entry program. I dont have an exact ship date yet, they are waiting to see when the next opening for DC is. I was just wondering if you could tell me how your son liked it, and any information you know about being a DC. I am a volunteer fire fighter and emt. Thats why im going in as a DC and i jsut wanted to make sure that it was a good choice for me.

Marianne/KT's Mom said… - Katie said that she won't know about Christmas until after she actually is at A school. She said she would be heading over there on Tuesday. No guarantees about Christmas yet, She said that she would't even know about Liberty details for this weekend until today. We arrived in Milwaukee late this am and are at our hotel. The boys already have had a swim. Our room was ready at noon, so they let us check in.

- Katie called today and said she was officially a SAILOR!! She said that her classes wouldn't start until the 16th...then would that mean a week of indoctrination or something? Katie said her graduation from A school would be March 5th, but I guess that just depends on how things go along for his classes from what you have said. Thanks and congrats that Michael is doing so well.

My daughter Kim graduated four months ago, boy that went by fast!! HAHA!!
She just finished A School and is on HOLD until she's told of her next orders. She is also in Chicago. They held her captive!! HAHA!!
How does Michael like the Navy so far?

You must have been going nuts while Michael was in Boot Camp!! You poor thing!!! I came across this web site right after Kim left. This is such a blessing, so many moms helped me through Boot Camp.
Well your here now with us!! HAHA!! We're one big Military family now!! HAHA!!
