Please Help Me and My Son Ruben

- About me:
- I am a single Mom of two boys. My oldest is name Sam and he lives with me, and then there is my Baby Ruben who is in the Navy. I am Christian, Jesus has gotten me through some tuff times. I thank God for my two sons, they are good men. I also like reading, watching CSI Miami and Dancing with the stars. And i also watch religious channels.

- When I heard “Navy,” I:
- Was concerned or afraid, Was proud
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- That Jesus is Truth, and what ever God has in mind for my son Ruben future, is great for me, because i know Jesus is with Ruben.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience

Maybe it isn't a good time for you but there is another Meet and Greet being planned soon and it will be in the Riverside area. If you are able to get away for a little while maybe you would like to join us? No date has been set yet.

I'm glad that Ruben is doing well. Is he at Balboa? That's where our twins were born. My Rich's new orders keep him stationed in San Diego. He'll be on the Nimitz. It goes out on deployment in June, but Rich doesn't have to go until Sept. He won't get to leave VA until Aug. after "C" school, but he gave me his new address today so I can send him some pix that we took of his wife & children in San Diego a couple of weeks ago.
Well, I'd better run for now.

That's great about Ruben. What did the doctor say how he is progressing?
My prayers are still with you.
Kim was here last weekend. It's always so wonderful having her home. It still took her 11 hours to drive back. She said she didn't get lost and does a straight through drive. Coming home it took 6 1/2 hours.
So far David has been keeping out of trouble, I hope and pray. He goes back to New Jersey on May 18. He doesn't think he'll go to prison. I don't know what to expect. Being his first offence in that state, maybe he'll get to do communtiy service, again. So far, that's all he ever gets.
Darlene bailed him out. I didn't want him home.

How is Ruben?

Well, it looks as if Richard is/has started "C" school today and will be going to San Diego after the 12 week program. We are praying that he'll get a couple of weeks leave to be with the wife & kids before they fly him out to the Nimitz.
What are you hearing from your son? We are still praying for Ruben. Please keep us posted on how he is.
I talked with a friend of mine yesterday whose husband is in the Marines and was deployed a couple of weeks ago. She seems to be doing great, but I'm sure her heart aches. They are expecting their 3rd child on May 22. Too bad they couldn't wait until the babe was born! I'm so proud of our military families.
