Hey there! I'm doing okay - cell phones are a wonderful thing. I get a phone call or text at least once a day... Which gives me a little bit of normalcy! He has passed all the liberty test, so he is able to wear civilian clothing! He has been out and about enjoying his freedom and MONEY too! The BIG PST is Tuesday! He knows now is not the time to get relaxed or complacent. If he is going to be there until June, I would love to go back for a visit - NOT TOO mention how much more fun and relaxed we could be! Definitely, if they are going to be there, we will have to plan somthing! Ugh, sorry your working so hard, long shifts, huh? When are you guys heading this way? Tell the hubby and daughter, we said, "HI"! Guess I need to give my brother a kick in the tail to get those picutres off his camera! Brynn

Hi Lynette,
Not sure if we're going to meet & greet. We have to pick up someone at the airport first and check into room. Depends on how tired we are.

Hi Lynette just saw your comment on here. I cried for days after my son left, I totally understand your feelings. I promise it gets better, especially after PIR, when you can have open communication ( get him a cell phone) . Mine just passed his exit test and will be leaving for S.D. some time in Dec. Can't wait for X-mas leave!! The first time you get to hold your son if you go up for PIR will be amazing, hang in there.

Tom arrived in Chicago at 8:30 tonight EST. How are you doing? I was much better after hearing from him by cell. He texted me today while he was waiting for his flight. He seemed nervous, but he told me that he would be okay. I got a great hug from him last night and it will stay with me for a long time :0) I felt like my heart was being ripped from my chest.
