Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! I heard the USS Cleveland Thanksgiving had a lot of food and Everyone had plenty to be thankful for. There was a lot of laughs and smiles. God does answer prays!

- Hi Lynnette! How are you lately? All seems to be good and Ok with the ship, my son sends me about 1 to 2 emails a week. He finally got his packages for Christmas. Hope your holiday is a good one☺

- Hi Lynnette! Yea our Thanksgiving was good. Just way too much food like always!!!! I haven't gotten my package yet but am very anxious to get it!! Curious as to what is in it!! I'm still waiting on an email. Haven't gotten one in almost 3 days :( I bet they are extremely busy tho. Big elephant???? lol I wish they could've been home for Thanksgiving!! lol a Halloween card on Thanksgiving! That would be funny!!!! Hope all is well with your family!!!

- Hi Lynette, I had to chuckle at your question because I feel that way a lot. I do know those two...Family Readiness Officer and Operational Security. If you go on the Navy website www.navy.mil you will see even more abbreviations that are their second language. Glad to have you aboard.

His wife works downtown Oklahoma City (long drive from their home). My whole family is from Huntsville, AL but he and I are the only two who live so far away. I've been in Orlando about 25ish yrs now.

- Hi Lynnette! My son Kyle is onboard the Cleveland also. He has been there since July 4th. I have started a group called "The USS Cleveland LPD 7 The Steaming Cleveland", would love to have you come over and join. We have several folks there - some are moms or dads of the Marines stationed onboard the Cleveland, some are wives, 1 is a girlfriend, but all in all a wonderful bunch of people sharing some good information about our family on the Cleveland. - My son call at 512am this morning he knew I would be up. I go to work between 5 to 6:30 in the morning I work in surgery. Well this morning I was in the bathroom and did not get to the phone in time. I could cry:(. So I run to my younger sons room because I thought he would be the next call and he was not. Anyway just waiting
