Dear Made,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
Please, don't hestitate to ask anything. That's what we're all here for. I'm still asking myself!! HAHA!!

When does your husband graduate?
As soon as you get the graduation package, reserve a room.

I think my daughter was in ship 11.
My daughter Kim is now on the USS Normandy in Virginia.

Let me get going.
Take care and God bles.

Thanks for letting me know about your husband in with my son. My son said there are a lot of family men in his div that have wives and kids at home. That must be so hard on them. As long as they are in bc, they can't have any gifts. We send phone cards and that is a biggie for our son. Also we heard about ricky heaven where they can go to after battlestations. It has fast food restaurants and video games, so in another week, I'm going to get gift cards from McDonalds, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut because another mom posted those restaurants in particular, and mail those to him. Did you get a call last Wed? My son called for less than a minute and then had to go. ~Mary

I would like to invite you to join the group of moms from Texas!! We are the largest state group on this site!! (Everything is bigger in Texas - including Navy Moms)!!

Just go to the groups tab and type in Texas in the search box. The icon of the group is the state of Texas, of course!! If you can’t find that, click on my picture to the left and it will take you to my page. You can find the same icon there. Just click on it and you can join us!!

Please leave a short message about where you live and what your sailor is doing. Also, please let us know how you found Navy for Moms.

My sailor son, Derek, is a MA (Master at Arms) - He just returned from three months in Kuwait and on oil platforms in the Persian Gulf. He is now stationed in Virginia.
