We are a mixed Irish/Italian family who love food and love cooking, baking, grilling, etc even more...we love to travel & sight see and can find something to 'sight see' in our own area with little travel required...we are a very large combined family so ingenuity is required to be able to do anything with all 8 of us! All of us enjoy reading & we have a large eclectic collection of books...and music for that matter...we are avid Boston Red Sox & and Dallas Cowboys supporters...did I mention the Red Sox? In fact, it will be the sports updates Michael Joseph will miss most during boot camp, he already has a friend lined up to mail him reports!! Coffee & wine are another of MY passions...where coffee is enjoyed by several in this household, I am the only vino lover in this house...basically we are a home full of passion & chaos, but we are insane enough to deal!!

thanks for the request. So we are neighbors I see. You will enjoy this site especially when he goes to boot camp. It was an emotiional life saver for me. Me and my husband felt like someone had died when he left. We totally supported him though and we are very proud of his decision. He was lucky and went in with three friends which I know made it better for him. At least he knew they were going through it too. After graduation he went to A school in MS and now he is logistic specialist in Norfolk on the USS Enterprise. We just got back from there last night. We went to see him for Memorial weekend. He had duty today so we decided to come home a day early. I miss him everyday but this experience has been soooo great for him. He has grown in so many ways. Kyle had absolutely no motivation before the Navy. It is still hard to let him go. They don't tell you that when you have them that one day you will have to let them go UGH!!!!!!! I also have a 19 year old, his name is Brian. He is totally different from Kyle but still has no motivation. I know he will never join the military and I just pray that he finds his way.
