Profile Information

About me:
I have 2 children, Bobby 24 and Carli 22. I am from Alabama but my husband is from Boston. What a hoot when we have conversations!.

Bobby and my Dad gave me away when I married my second husband David. We took Bobby to a RED SOX game @ Fenway the day after we were married and he caught a ball!! He has been hooked on Boston ever since.

I am a PFC in the National Guard (Virginia Defense Force) Commo/Signal command.

I moved to Richmond 3 1/2 years ago and really hope my son gets stationed in Norfolk for awhile because he has been staying in AL where is his Dad, Grandmother etc.. live.

I have missed only getting to see him a couple of times a year.

I am very proud of him:)

My son was just put in ship 6 div 2341 how long did it take for him to recover? Was he able to graduate with a new division? Were you able to get a div yearbook from his original division?

Margie: Hey, How's everything going? Cory is now in San Antonio, he arrived there 7/30. Says the weather is really a killer, with heat up close to 100* and the humidity in the 70's. He got his cell phone...I did get to talk to him over the weekend. What's going on with Bobby? Keep me posted. Julie

Thanks for the comment it's very encouraging. I asked my son in the letter I sent Friday if he knows Bobby Lee...If your son is still on ship 6 maybe they'll meet!

Margie: I'm back in Phoenix. Boy, did the time at GL go fast. Cory is doing well, he still thinks he made the best decision for him. So that makes it easier to be so far away. He's going to remain at base until sometime in August (he thinks) before he leaves for A school in San Antonio. I haven't heard a word since I got back last Sunday. I know he changed ships..so I can't even write. Let me know how your doing and if there's any news about Bobby. Julie

I read that your son in on Ship 6 Div 2341 with stress fractures..........so is my son since 7/23. How is Bobby doing? Is he still on ship 6 or has he gone back to a regular division?

Margie: Glad to hear the good news about Bobby. I sure wish you were going to be there next week...I was so looking forward to meeting you. Let me know if you haven't found a way to get the Keel from Div. 256....I can't promise anything, but I'll be glad to pick up an extra if they have them at PIR. Of course you know I can't wait to see Cory! Keep in touch and keep me posted on Bobby's progress. Julie
