There are so many great graphics out there that I thought it'd be fun to have a central area to share. Lets keep this as military graphics however.

Thanks Mari! I did contact the ombudsman for the Stennis because I wasn't sure how current the one was for the squadron, Anyway, They did send me a very nice email letting me know that he did arrive safely on the ship and then they also had him ema…

I haven't heard from my son since he got to where he was to meet the ship, does anyone know of a way I can find out if he met his ship ok?
May 19
Well, He really likes where he is right now except for the fact that the ship wasnt' there and being that it is the weekend, no one seems to know where the ship is and act like they weren't even expecting it..lol. He said his luck he will stay long…

Lol, the petty officers kept telling him at the base they won't fly yyou out to the ship, so Monday was a bit of a shock when they told him to pack. He was just getting settled in and had just got his truck down there which he was holding off on at…

No, I haven't heard from Holly since the 4th. I tried to send her an email yesterday and it was supposedly "delayed delivery". Tried to send it again today and it was returned. Brandon and Holly both have email addresses that go through the air wing address rather than the ship's address. I don't know if that is the problem or what. By the way, I sent the box to you today... cheapest way was regular mail so it may take 10 -14 days to get to you. I didn't open it... I sent you the replacement as it appeared to be packed better (box within a box) but, I'm curious cause I heard something move in that box and NOTHING should be moving the way the picture frame is packed. Now... I also bought a Navy Mom license plate frame... I'm wondering if they sent another one of those two!! If so, well, there ya go! I already have one on each of my cars...lol!

No kidding, next door neighbors the way the Internet goes! :-) Those differences you mention are just what I hope the Navy can give Spencer. He went to CWU for fall quarter but just didn't care for it. He has his AA degree through Pierce College and Running Start but that didn't give him much as for job skills. It did get him in as an E3 though, so it's paid off! Refinement is what my kid needs, that and structure and attention to detail. I know being a sailor will give him those skills. He's good at following orders and a good kid....I think he's going to do spectacular! PIR is going to be so amazing to attend. Funny thing is, he's probably not even to 1-1 get, still processing! Thanks for your message...great to meet you and I appreciate all of your wisdom and support! Take care and keep your fingers crossed that spring does decide to show up before June! ;-) Dee

Hi, thanks for writing.............you're in Renton, cool! I'm in Puyallup. Sunny here today for brief period, it was wonderful...wish it would have stayed longer! Yes, Spencer is at GL now. He said he'd get to call in a couple weeks but I'm not going to hold my breath! ;-) I'm doing great. I know this is just what he needs to put the finishing touches on a very nice young man. Take care! Dee

Hey there! No the 2 ships are currently NOT on the same schedule. One is on the move constantly and the other one is still in dry dock. Good for me right now, but not for the sailor waiting for that ship to move!
Your sons are nice looking guys! Nice pics! You must be very proud of those "boys" too!!!!!!

Very uncommon to have the same spelling of this name! I know of none!!! I am named after my 2 great-grandmothers(one was Anna and the other Mary) and my mother's middle name is Marianne. I am not an official twin, BUT I do have a first cousin born on the same day and year!! I take it you are a twin!! How long have your sons been in the Navy? I see that one is on the Stennis. I have one on the Reagan and the other on the Carl Vinson. What are your son's jobs? There are so many of us with multiples! It's awesome. Welcome to the group and thanks for the friend request. Your name will be the easiest to remember!LOL

No, I won't be able to make it to the lunch. I'm currently at our property in Eastern WA. In the cold & snow! Ha! We have a couple trees to knock down so the well-driller guy can get his equipment in. AND the cold & snow is not helpful! Ha! The dozer blade is frozen to the ground. Also not helpful! Ha! My husband would like for me to live here whenever we are having work done so I may be here for a while... I love it in the summer but these mornings with temps in the single digits? Don't know about that! Ha! Have a great day Donna!!

Notiger Cruises - only a Family all day cruise on the George Washington - The picture on my page with the green helmet on (called a cranial i think) was on the flight deck during the cruise .. I have expressed my desire to attend if they have one - we will see what my sailor says - oh the weather - I moved from Colorado (where I spent 5 yeats at 7000 feet) teh cold and snow really does not bother me.. the rain either - i love the 'green' all around - I live near Ilahee state park and can see the olympics one way and the seattle skyline the other way (have to walk a block but work the view ) the people here are really nice too -- it is no where near decision making time yet - so not to worry - Will you be coming to lunch at Ruby Tuesday;'s on Saturday?

Mari-Adam and Brandon are just too handsome! Which one is a brown shirt? I hope our sons know each other. It's a small word after all.
