Just busy yourself with other things when he is gone. Don't forget he now belongs to the Navy. That is what my son told me years ago.
Take Care

Dear Maria,
The verbal orders came in today!!!! I am so excited, I just hope Kim's not too dissappointed, she was hoping for Hawaii. All we know is that she will be on a ship around Virginia!!! I am so excited.
Poor kid was so depressed in her e-mail letter. Now the fun should start!! HAHA!! I told Kim of the two women officers I had a talk with, and how much they both love the NAvy and how many countries they have seen.
Let me get going. I got backlogged today with messages.
Take care and God bless.

Hi Maria,
Yes, my son is at Groton. I heard from him this morning as he had just graduated from BESS school. He was just .1% away from the top of his class and got voted by the rest of the class as best sailor in the class. He was recognized with a plaque at graduation. He now does duty watch and cleaning for a month until the ATT classes start.

Charlie probably really enjoys what he does but still looks forward to getting out in a few short years. That time will go by so fast for him. So far I haven't seen any pictures of Groton, but I hear it is beautiful there. My son keeps forgetting to grab his camera when he has a chance.

Charlie could probably give my son Shawn some good tips with all the experience he has. It's like guiding a younger brother or friend.

Thank you for responding and I look forward to sharing more with you and gaining valuable friends in the process.

Bless you!

Linda

Dear Maria,
I am still surprised. Well as long as Charles has been happy, that's all that matters.

As far as I know, I beleibve the Navy is everywhere.
I was surprised once, one mother told me her son is stationed in Cuba, that's a communist country. I didn't think they let anyone in!! Who knew!! HAhA!!

Kim called, I felt so bad, the poor kid is frustrated. All her friends have been stationed, adn she's still doing all the undesirable jobs! UGH!!
I pray she gets stationed soon, and she's happy with her job!
Let me get going.
Take care and God bless.
