Hi everyone!!!! I've had family & friends visiting from Philly so I haven't been on. Sure did need my N4M fix. Need to read many pages back to catch up but not tonite; already after 11 pm and I need some sleep.

I have a Kenmore "front loader" have had it since 2002 and LOVE IT! Yes, it keeps your water usage down but the matching drying will turn off when the clothes are dry so there's no extra time drying. I can't say enough about my front loading machine…

- Married to a wonderful man for 25 years. I was 39 and 40 when our son and daughter were born. Guess we were "late bloomers". I am here for my son. He recently joined and is currently in bootcamp. My daughter is in her first year at San Diego State University. I'm happy, anxious, scared but most of all proud that my son has made this hugh committment.

- August seems so close!! I talked to Nicole yesterday, she was on the train going to Chicago with a group!! I. Asked her if she knows Andy, she got all excited and told everybodyds that her mom knows sneeds mom on n4m!! They all started cheering!! She said andy got 100 0n the test!!! I hope to go 4 grad but I'll be amazed if I can piull it off!! Ttys!

Gloria "Corpsman's Mom" said… - Maria - My son is also with your son for Hospital Corpsman. He started the pre classes m-w (I believe Finance). He will start Corpsman school next Thurs the 28th. I am so excited he is on the way home now. He is not on the plane yet - I do not even know if he is at the airport yet. I hope so. Cannot wait to see him even though I just saw him last weekend for PIR.
Philly - California big change. I don't blame you Philly is great - love those cheesesteaks (LOL). California is also beautiful - my son wanted to move there so badly. He had a lot of friends there. Never the same as were you grew up.

- Hi Maria ;-) Nicole did start her classes last Wednesday!! She is Nicole Kuntz. I guess in their spare time they have been spending a lot of time at the bowling alley! She officially hates bowling now!!! She is adjusting great, homesick but doing making lots of friends and seems to be getting the studying down!!
I am not too far from you! I live in Folsom just east of Sacramento. Do you ever come up this way?

- Maria - agree we are all here for common thread but could not help to notice all the young Moms & Wives & GF's - babies to me. As you said we are all in this together. It is exciting and wonderful. I am so happy for my son's choices and think I am more excited over each phase than he is. Dropping him off on Sunday it felt to me like he was on campus at a college. Watched car after car or van emptying with all these young girls or guys in jeans, flip flops, etc. Everyone laughing and having a good time. I did not feel sad at all. I was thrilled for all the opportunities he has before him. Okay I tend to get on a roll - Sorry.

- Maria looking great for your age!!!! I am not far behind you. Funny - to see all these young Moms. I drove one to the airport Mon and said gee I am old enough to be your Mom (LOL). She was one year older that my oldest son. I had a big span before my son Karl and my daughter were born. Daughter is 21 and in college for Nursing.
