About me:
My son Jack, wanted to join the military when he graduated from high school. I told him to go to college for two years first, thinking he would change his mind. He finished his two years and reminded me of our discussion. Jack talked to many recruiters and decided to join the Navy. He begins his new life in March 2009.

I am sorry it took so long for me to write you back. I have not been to this website since I last entered a comment. Not sure why but I have been busy at home. I would love to meet with you and talk to you about GTMO. If you want to get together sometime write on this page, I promise I will look at it everyday this week.

I'm one lucky Navy Mon right now. my son has 12 years in and is now stationed in Central Ohio. I have my granddaughters close to home and I can now be a full time grammie. Its the best ever. Up until about a month ago I had had only about 60 days with them. For now they are here everday. Thank you God! What joy they bring to me. Each day is better than the next. I try to savor every day, because I know they will move on to the next station, but that is way, way off. No reason to worry about that now. I am so blessed. Robin
