Aloha Marie, I think I greeted you on BC Moms when you first came on site. So sorry that things haven't gone as planned for Justin! Really sorry to hear of your cancer diagnosis though, how scary1 My mother had the same, it was before they had the vaccine and I think treatments are so much better now. Want you to know I'll be praying for you and am here if you need to talk about it or if you have family members who need to. Also, there is an N4M Cancer Group you really should join:

Hi Marie, Our son Evan has been at Great Lakes since December 17th and moved into Ship 17 upon his arrival. He hopes to be discharged next week, but I realize it may take longer. I will keep you and Justin in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Polly

Boot camp is so hard because I need information so I can process things in my mind. I don't like the unknown. I think that if I would have experienced boot camp myself I would at least have an idea of what he is going through. I have found some information as well of videos on the internet and that has helped a little.
