There's a really good restaurant right here in Bethel called the Putnam House. It's in an old Victorian/Tudor type home and food is great! La Zingara is good too but REALLY expensive. Also in Danbury we have 2 Steps, Bertuccis, and more. But....PUtnam is my best suggestion!
