He can start working on his live ashore asap and SHOULD. He does NOT have to be a certain phase to start on it. Tell him to ask for the paperwork. I am not sure about being ready to move just tell him to ask I believe his LPO but I could be wrong.

About me:
Former Navy wife and Mother of two, Nick is at C school and our daughter is a junior at college so we have become "empty nesters" however...still liking my husband of 24 years!!!

Our sailor son ...
PIR-ed from division 161, ship 7 on April 25, 08
Graduated from A school in GL in December 05, 08 as FC
Starts his C school - Aegis Spy Radar in Jan. 09
Made E4 in June 2009
Graduates from C school as Honor Grad - July 31, 2009
His dad was also an FC... for 10 years!

Def Leppard, Raven Drum Foundation Offer Free Concert Tickets

WASHINGTON, July 10, 2009 - To honor the military and provide a little fun and excitement over the summer months, the rock group Def Leppard and Raven Drum Foundation have started giving away 100 free concert tickets to military members and veterans with military ID for each show in the 2009 Def Leppard summer concert tour.

YES. We are STILL in Great Lakes! Lol. Waiting for transfer still. We leave here on January 13th. Luis is taking leave so we're heading to San Antonio from here. Then Luis has to report to Pensacola on the 28th of January. I think his schooling is a few months. I'm not too sure. Do you know anything about ET ATC Radar school?? But we're doing good. How are you and how's Nick? =)

Stephen reported to his ship, but is on hold until it gets back from deployment.
He is so glad to be done with school. He is working for the NETC, M-F 7:30 to 3:00, awaiting his ship. He can't wait to get to his ship. He is really excited.

Mary, thank you for the welcome. We are excited for our son to be an FC. He is in Great Lakes, on hold for ATT, then, I assume will be on hold for FC school. But, he is looking forward to the job.
Thank you again for being part of this web site. I'm sure I will be trying to find out as much as I can about the job.
