When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I haven't learned very much yet. He has not done his physical yet. :-) My husband retired from the marines in 2000. So I know a great deal about what it means for someone to serve in the military. I certainly know what it means to be a military spouse.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:

My son, Joseph, is now in training at New London Sub Base. I got to have him visit me in NJ last weekend for his first real liberty. It was great. I'm so proud of him. Again, congratulations.

Dear Mary,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.

Joseph will be fine and in good hands with the Navy. Boot Camp isn't as horrible as we all pictured it. Once the recruits hae adjusted to the rountine of Boot Camp and over being home sick, they like Boot Camp, beleive it or not!

I'm still new. My daughter Kim is in Virginia on the USS Normandy. Her ship is docked so she' doing odd jobs. She was trained to read the radar.

I hope to hear from you again. Please don't hestitate to write.
Take care and God bless.
