About me:
I'm a proud navy mom from the North Dallas area of Texas. My husband and I have two remarkable sons, Andy and Brian, who have both decided to join the Navy. They have both chosen the Nuclear Technology Field.
Andy is in power school at Goose Creek.
Brian is also at Goose Creek in A school.
I've never been more proud of them!

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Not to whine, but to be strong and to support my guys.
It's funny to catch your son checking for your reaction out of the corner of his eye!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Dan was on the 25-4's also. It's alot on them. As he is home right now, I asked for his words of advise. he recommends trying to do an hor before classes start. That way it isn't such a long block at night. Dan struggled along with the math and long hours and did great on the comps. 3.02. So, I guess let him know that the long hours do pay off in the end. Best of luck to him! Enjoy the other son while he is home! i don't have the fiance, but he has been to 2 Cubs games, the Tast of Chicago, Great America, you get the picture! Always good to here from you!

Look at you! What a proud Mom. Your guys look great. Hope all is well
Dan arrived home last night for 16 days. Every time I see him i am amazed at his transformation into a polite charming gentleman. Not that he wasn't charming before, but just in a much more polished way.
Hope you have a wonderful 4th

Hi Mary Ellen-
thanks so much for your kind words. We're hoping the this is a temporary delay for Emily. She so wishes she was with her division instead of limbo land. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your sons. Have a great weekend! pam

My Daughter is in div 214 and I tried to RSVP for the Meet N Greet, not sure if I am doing it right but would love to attend on the 4th @ Flanagans. Sounds like fun and thanks for organizing! Getting closer everyday but can't come soon enough! Jean
