My daughter is on the USS New York. We are from PA and will be going to NYC for the commissioning. Looking forward to meeting other parents there!

Congrats on your daughter finishing A-school! You said that she will be in P-cola until March - does that
mean she is in C-school now? Did your daughter have to wait very long to start A-school? Does she like
it in Pensacola? That's so cool about her ship! sounds like you are planning to get to see her when she gets there - how exciting - and March is right around the corner now!!! thanks for the update on your daughter -
it's so nice to hear how other mom's children are doing. My son is still waiting to start A-school. Hopefully,

I am looking forward to her coming home for Christmas. Have you heard any news regarding the dates? I know the going to school in the evening thing must be hard to adjust to. Jess always seems so tired, and I'm sure you have heard the same. I sent Jess some healthy food, and some staples so she would have good things on hand when she can't get to chow. I guess the food there causes some "gastrointestinal distress" at times. lol. Drop a line when you can.

Cora-Brooklyns Mom said… - Hey Girl have not heard from you ina long while!! How is Mallory?? Brooklyn was suppose to start A School Nov now it has been put on hold till jan 2009. We are driving down for Thanksgiving . Rented a Condo for 4 days and will be cooking dinner for half a dozen sailors who wont have their Parents there to share the holiday with them! I even have a Mom near seattle who wants me to give her son a hug for her and if I have room have him over also for Thanksgiving! She has not seen her son in over a year! So whats new with you?? Stay in touch. We may be able to hook up again!!
