Son left for OCS today.Just need some support .

My son has graduated from College and have been through the college times however being new to the military just have alot of question. Any moms have any guidance for me?

- Hi MaryAnn ... I think you mean "Geoffrey". ;) It's okay, they both start with a "G". :) Geoffrey's going into Intel after OCS ... which is great, because Intel School is really close to where I live! ;D
I'm so glad your son and my fiance get along so well! They're both squad leaders, so they have that in common. :)

- Hi Maryann! I talked to my OC tonight. I have some good news for you! :) Your son is a squad leader (so is my OC! That's pretty awesome! :) ) which, in itself, is great. Also, he passed both PI and his Nav Test today. So, sounds like he's doing awesome! :) If he hasn't written or called, it's because squad leaders are really really busy. I know Geoffrey (my OC, my fiance as of ... two weeks ago!) would write every single day if he could, but his last letter was one page long apologizing profusely for his lack of ability to write on account of his squad leader duties.

- Hi MaryAnn--my son is also in 05-10. Glad to have you here:-) It has been an incredible ride hasn't it? Read all the posts in 05-10 and some of OCS graduate moms it is very very helpful. My son is in Aviation also, so we have a lot in commom.
