Hi MaryBeth, I see you are contact for the St. Augustine Meet n Greet, I will miss it by one week. If you could keep me posted on future events it would be great. Our son lives in JAX and we will be snow birds out of Cresent City so would love to attend one of these and get to know all of you.

And tell Tina, I nearly blew the screen off the laptop with your Submarines.

Have a great time and hope sometime to join you all,
Kelly

Marybeth, thank you for your kind words. It was actually my Grandmother that passed away. My Grandfather is still in ICU at Shands. They were in a horrible car wreck yesterday and my Grandmother was killed. It has been such a shock to me and my family. She was llike a Mother to me. I will miss not being there Saturday, but know you understand. Give my regards and thanks again.

Marybeth, I was looking for a couple jokes to include in my letter to Gage and found one you might like:
SUBMARINES ARE SAFER THAN AIRCRAFT .....
THE PROOF IN THIS FACT IS THAT THERE ARE MORE AIRCRAFT IN THE WATER THAN SUBMARINES IN THE SKY.

1 year school definately a bonus!!! looks like Gage will have eithe 103 calendar days or 61 depending on AT or AE rates (via internet). Before I put little ones to bed....mind if I ask how many years James signed for? Gage only signed for 4 active 2 reserved but that was a precauntionary move.

AV rate which can be either AT or AE. Basically it is avionics electrician rate. Working on airplane electronics in lamen terms.....just like daddy but in an accidental way. Bryan had nothing to do with his interest, but the ASVAB linked his score with that rate and nuclear. Gage doesn't like confining spaces so that ruled out nuclear (subs)...lol

WOW, Gage too was JROTC and DEP. My husband retired Navy so Gage was more aquainted with the Navy than most young men....but wow, I feel so comforted by the similarities.....I too look forward to meeting you marybeth!!

Marybeth,
This is the first time I enlarged the photo of your son and my jaw hit my chest....My Gage is of the same build, same eyebrows, eyes, nose and adams apple....They look very familiar!! Also, I would like to confirm my intentions of being at the next luncheon and would love to bring Gage's girlfriend.

I loved your golf sacrifices!!!
