- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- The Navy offers alot to our young people and all of the people I talked to had positive things to say about their experiences with the Navy. This was very encouraging and a relief. I am excited for my daughter to have the opportunity for this new adventure while building a career.

I so enjoyed getting to meet with you again this weekend. It was fun! I really do wish you safe travels, good weather, and all the best fun this Friday as you get to watch your daughter's PIR. Even tho' it will be short for you, it will be so worth it just to see and hug her again!!! Enjoy every minute of it. I'll be waiting to see pictures. (I also wish you good luck on finding that T-shirt!!!!) But really if you don't get a chance to go to the NEX please don't worry about in on my behalf. I need another T-shirt like I need another hole in my head!!!

By the way - I love the picture of your daughter leaning on the picnic table. Was that a professional picture? If not, whoever took it has a really good eye for picture taking!!! Talk to you again soon!!

I didn't think that there was a wait for pictures to get approved. But you know, with this site getting so big - if there is just one person overseeing everything - I don't see how they could keep up!! So I'm not complaining one bit. This site means too much to me to have any negative feelings about the process. Now I know just to be patient!!!
Let me know when is a good time for you to get together. Like I said - I'm pretty free so I will go with your schedule!!!
