I love the video but.........my son just returned from MEPS with 20 other young men and they were all told there were no jobs in the Navy. Is this being used as a recruiting tool or just as a advertisement?

Well they sent my son to MEPS a day earlier than planned. Not sure if that is good or bad. He called this evening and I think that he is going to understand the military slogan of "hurry up and wait" real soon. He said that he sat in the recruiter office for 4 hours. He was so glad that he had a book to read. I really wish I could be a fly on the wall when he gets that 4 am wake up call tomorrow, but he may be so excited that he just jumps up. Good Morning Ladies!!

I am not sure whether or not to call myself a Navy Mom yet or not. My son just turned 17 this month and we met with the Recruiter Thursday night. All the paper work has been signed for the Delayed Enlistment Program. I had said that I would not sign any paperwork that he could Enlist by himself when he was 18.
