Zachary-AT3- currently deployed right now overseas.
Anyone with family members who are already aircrew or going to school to be aircrew. Anyone who is part of an air squadron is welcome. Even if you are just thinking about doing aircrew, come join us and let's share information.
My son is an AT with with the VFA-41 Black Aces, They are stationed right now on the USS NIMITZ. He's on deployment til March. I don't know how I'll get thru the holidays without him.
This group is for the loved ones of Airman (E3) in the Aviation field. Feel free to share your experiences with others and give advice or suggestions when needed. Most of all, let's brag about our Airman! :)
Ok in boot camp you jump/get pushed of a tower diving area, then you swim face in the water completing one lap. You do the crawl stroke unless you are instructed otherwise. Then you go to a different group and learn how to make a flotation device ou…
When does he go in? If he has time to go to the Y and take some lessons it wouldn't hurt to be prepared.
That's great to know because my son is in boot camp now and just recently began taking swimming lessons in May of this year. The running and written test; he will have no problems at all. All we can do is send plenty of letters and pray.
Remember that unless they have a computer in their workspace they have to sometimes wait in line to use one. After a 12 hour shift I don't think I'd want to wait in line every day to email. I hope you all hear often!!

- That my son has grown stronger and that there is alot of people going thru what I am and that we all can be there for each other and that the military is one big family.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made
