Congratulations.......that is exciting. Our son is in A school now...he is a Seabee. I have went to the other sight and no one ever writes on there.....We live just 4 miles outside of Brookville.

Anyone's Son/Daughter in Ship 9 Division 344?

Our son arrived at GL on 8/11 and graduation is on 10/9. We were so excited today to receive both a brief letter with all the information and his box.

Thats gr8. Tell him according to Garett its allll worth it. He is gunna b sooo happy when bootcamp is over... He will feel like a whole new person. Garett also said the first cpl weeks sucked ... but other than that he really enjoyed it. ;)

Oh....Zach signed up for Operation Specialist. He's hoping to switch to Fire Controlman if a spot opens up but sounds like he'll be at Great Lakes for at least a year at this point. What about your son?

Oh, that's too bad if he ends up being a "grad n' go", I will think good thoughts for you! I was pretty excited when I heard Zach was going to be staying for A school. I had heard that would make it more likely he would have liberty over the weekend. I made all my plane & hotel reservations last week. I'm counting down the weeks now.....and I got to talk to him this past week which was amazing, I don't think I sat down for hours I was so excited to hear from him!!!! It's pretty late where you are I noticed, I'm in Oregon.
