- I'm a middle school teacher. This is my 25th year, 20 years in my present district. My dad was in the Navy and got stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. Therefore, my sister and I were born there. I'm a single mom and Zach is my only child.

How are you doing?
So Your a Military BRAT!! HAHAH! I write to many moms that are!
Kim is the first Military. My father was drafted in WW 2 and was very anti military. I "m so thankful he doesn't know about Kim.
So far, thank God she does loves it. SHe's in Virginia on the USS Normandy, but the ship is docked for a year. She was trained to read the radar. Right now, there's no use for that job.
Where is Zachary now in the Navy?

Not sure if I should call you Melody or DeeDee but welcome to N4M!! Happy New year too.
We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
