Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
My child will be alright and he will grow strong!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Hi Mich,
My son Anthony is in division 007 also. I have been on this site for several weeks and I have learned a lot. If you have any questions, let me know. I would be happy to help you. His PIR date will be 11/21/08 and you should be getting your "grad pack" in the next day or two. Nancy

Hi nice to have you here Mich! Yes your son will be graduating on 11/21 as well! Please join our group, it's a great source of information. Just go to the left side of my page and you can get to the group PIR 11/21/2008 and when you get there you can join it from there. You should be getting your graduation packet in the mail--I got mine today. It has some brochures in there. I would make my reservations asap. As long as there are no set backs for your son he will graduate on time. If there is a set back he should let you know about it. I hope this helps! Again welcome! Janet

Finally received the first phone call and all is going really well. Our Son even has even verbalized a sense of appreciation for his family, appreciation for his accomplishments and a sense of pride. This is all within two weeks of boot camp. Other parents take heed. Our Son made this decision all on his own and we believe this was such an excellent choice for him and his future. If you or your children are thinking of the Navy talk to a recruiter today. Talking cannot hurt just get informed!

Dear Mich from FL:
Hello & Welcome to N4M’s!
My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D
Sincerely, Catherine

I am glad to know that the videos were so reassuring to you. The navy did those and I was lucky to have had the opportunity to do them for the site.

The info is from my heart it was not scripted that was all me.

Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you

Dear Mich,
How are you doing tonight? With my pictures, I added Frosty the snowman, whom I always played, now my daughter took over!! HAhA!!!
Then my little girl, the reptile you see, that's my Rachel!!! I sometimes mention her, so I figured why not have her picture up as well!! HAHA!!

Kim was trained to read the radar, and morse code, I know there's more, that's all I can remember!!HAHA!!
That HOLD is a pain in the butt, the Navy is good for this "Hurry and wait"!!
This happend after Kim graduated as well, it was two months before she started A School. With the HOLD, she's waiting to be told were she'll be stationed to work. I pray it's not that long of a wait!!!
In the mean time, she's doing laundry!!UGH!!!

Where is Nathaniel now in the Navy?

I 'm still learning some of the terminolgy and abbreviations, it's hard keeping up with!! HAHA!!
Let me get going.
You take care and God bless.

I think any recruiter will help you w/ answers. They are really nice guys. Usually get a form letter with a couple lines at the end soon after the box. Then a real letter. They write on Sundays so letters usually arrive wednesday or thursday.

Dear Mich,
How are you? This Navy for moms is such a blessing!
Where is Nathaniel now in the Navy?
If he's in Boot Camp, how far into it is he?

I enjoy sharing information with that.

My daughter Kim just finished A School and is now on HOLD until she gets her new orders. So far, thank God, she loves the Navy.

I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
