I'm only a one-year resident of the Hoosier State, so just where is Mt. Vernon? If you're near (or willling to drive) the northern parts, there's an informal state-wide gathering for dinner in Warsaw (not far from South Bend) on October 10. Just click on that date on the Events calendar in the right-hand column for all the details.
There's also a monthly informal dinner in Avon (on the west side of Indy) which meets on third Mondays. Click on Oct 19 for those details.
I think we're a pretty nice bunch of folks and hope you enjoy your stay with us. We're always willing to lend an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. Hugs! k.
