I am a mother of three boys, one of which wll start boot camp in June. HE IS SO EXCITED AND i COULDN'T BE MORE PROUD OF HIM. I am married and stay at home because our youngest is sick a lot.

Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
He would be doing it for the good of our country and for himself. His officer never has refused to answer questions he or I have had. He is always there when my son needs him.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Our guys do have a lot in common. I was so glad to hear from Sam yesterday. After what he and Zac and their other friends have been through together, they will be lifelong friends.

hey, marie called today! she asked me to pray for her b/c she's still sick and worried that may not do well on the last PT test. she said that this coming friday is their final academic test and she's too busy to write us. i asked her if she knows zac in her div. and she ask me for the last name. i said we're not allowed to give our recruits last name. I forgot that military call each other by their last name. But she said she knows a couple of zac and that all of them in the same div. knows each other including the boys.

she was surprised how i know alot of moms from the boot camp i told her i joined the navy4mom and meet all the moms in here. She's excited about the graduation and glad that i meet friends in this site.

No, we haven't received a graduation packet either. I know what you mean about Zac not being a mamma's boy. Sam is very close to my wife. He loves his mom so much, but is definately not a mamma's boy. He's so funny, when we go to Charleston, he won't let her walk by her self. He makes sure no one will harm her. He even helps her cross the street. He's very protective.

Hi Michelle,
Sam is a down to earth country boy. That's one of the things I love about Sam. He is himself no matter where he is. I'm so glad that these two small town boys found each other. My Dad will be coming with us. He and Sam are very close. We will be staying at the Navy Lodge. Can't wait to hear their stories.
