Hi Michelle, I am hardly on here also but I'm so glad you left me a message. That is awsome, Chad didn't tell me he saw Nate, and I talk to him a couple times a week, so I will have to ask him about it. We're getting ready to go to Pax to see him Aug. 13th. We were to go last mo. but my husband hurt his back so we had to postpone it. Talk to ya later.

It was nate that I met! Eric figured it out for me. LOL. It's nice to finally put a face to the name! It's funny because when Eric met him, after we left he said that he reminded him of his best friend from back home. Well just thought I'd tell you the exciting news that I finally figured it out!

Having him back is super! It's nice to have help around the house and not do it all alone! Thats good that Nate is keeping busy, it makes time in this boring place go by faster!

I went in and met a few guys that are MA's and one kinda reminded me of the the person in your picture...is nate in Alpha section? The guy I met has been here like 7 months I wanna say. Anyways...we'll figure it all out soon. LOL

Hi, Michelle... my son, Navy Mike, is stationed in San Diego, although right now he is out on deployment. I agree, the Navy was definitely the best decision for my son, as well. The time does go by so fast, just seems like yesterday that he graduated RTC - and oh, how long those nine weeks were! Quincy Moms and potential moms are gaining momentum - if time permits, I will have to keep my eyes (and my schedule open) for a meet and greet later on this year to meet all of you! Hope Nate will be able to enjoy the change of scenery (I'm sure he will see alot of what he didn't see in Quincy). I love the MD, VA and DC areas. Just like here, though, don't like the winter weather!

Blue Skies!

Hi, Michelle... wanted to stop by 'your place' to say hello, from another IL Navy Mom. I'm in Belleville, right across the Mighty Mississippi from downtown St. Louis, about 10 minutes east. You must tell Nate that during his tenure in Patuxent River, if he ever gets the chance to meet or greet Vice Admiral David Venlet, Commander, NAVAIR, he should seize the opportunity. VADM Venlet and his wife, Bunny, are extraordinary people.

Michelle,

Thanks for the information. He is getting conflicting information. His sponsor told him that he would say a room with one other person. Who does - I guess he will find out when he gets there. Yes Matt is a MA and is arriving in Pax River Saturday evening.

Michelle,

Can you please provide me with some information about the housing at PAX River. My son is single with no dependents and will be arriving there on April 11th.

Michelle,
God does answer prayers! I am so happy to hear your Dad is now cancer free. We are truly blessed! I have to tell you, I am so thankful for all of God's blessings.
I also thank you for your encouragement and support when Dale ran into the delay at boot camp. It was a difficult time for our family, and your message after meeting Dale at PIR reassured us that he was staying in good spirits. Nate's confidence in Dale was priceless. I hope and pray for a successful naval career for all our boys.
Take care and God Bless your family.

Hi Michelle,
It's always good to hear from you. I understand, we all get busy. I am so happy to hear Nate is doing well and adjusting to life in Maryland. I can understand how proud you are of him. Dale only had good things to say about Nate and Chad. I am thankful they were there with him, because it was a difficult time for Dale.
Dale is doing very well. He's learning Spanish and is scheduled to go to his first duty station in the fall. He'll probably be stationed in San Antonio. He will be closer to home, so we may get to see him more often.
Take care and keep in touch.
