I grew up in Lewiston Idaho and I graduated in 81 too! Yea for 1981! I met my hubby when I was college rodeoing for Spokane Community College. He's from Colton (near Pullman). We have lived in Benton City for about 20 years now.

I live in Redmond, WA (just across the lake from Seattle). Niko has been in for almost three years.
Aaron has been in finance classes too. That and cleaning the A school facilities. Barracks right? Anyway, he loves the facilities there. He's starting more classes tomorrow BECC whatever those are.

- When I heard “Navy,” I:
- Was proud and encouraged it
- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- Be patient! It can be maddening at times...but give your recruit/sailor LOTS of support and you will all get through it! I am such a proud mother!!!
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Love your Pics from PIR. It looks like you all had a great time together. You must be super busy with school starting soon! My job at the community college has been nuts busy as well. I kinda laughed when I seen the anheiser t-shirt your husband is wearing in one photo cuz my husband worked for Budweiser for 10 yrs. The world she is small. So if you don't mind me being snoopy. What stuggles did your sailor have during bc? I have noticed that several of the recruits have been being sent home for various reasons and it's made me a little nervous. I do know that my son will be homesick so I am aticipating that to be a bit of a struggle for him. He just hasn't been away much. Thanks for droppin me the line and way to go for your brand spankin new Sailor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
