- Thought I'd change my profile to more accuratly portray myself. My son is a Nuke EM aboard the Ike.I am his mom and the mom of two daughters,16 & 19- who I regularly threaten to leave by the side of the road. I ride a '04 Harley Heritage Classic.(DUH!). We live on an acre in the wilds of Santa Clara county and have many and various species of wildlife. I home-schooled my kids thru elementary school until I had to turn them over to the public school system.(It was either that or triple my Paxil and start buying bourbon by the case) During the years, I have had several sidelines,antique restoration, furniture refinishing, lampshade repair and design, landscaper, seamstress, librarian, local madam, and most recently; I am a part-time nanny/housekeeper.

Marci (Jason's Wifey- YN) said… - Hey Monica! Well I leave tomorrow for Norfolk to spend time with my husband for Thanksgiving and then I will be going back to spend time with him at Christmas. The place I'm looking at only has one full size bed, but I will let you know if I decide to stay somewhere else during Christmas. My husband arrived in Norfolk 3 days before the ship left, so he stays on the ship, but we're hoping he will be able to stay with me while I'm visiting.

- Hi Monica, Getting ready to head to Goose Creek on Thursday. Jeff found out that he is staying at GC for prototype although he will be on hold for a couple of months. We are anxious to try out the local cuisine and sightsee with Jeff. I think he is anxious to show us his "world". Best to you and your EM!! Pat

Crystal~Allie's Mom said… - That is too funny!!! My daughter is also a Nuke!!! And the funny thing is I work for Human Services and I used to threaten mine that I would give them to the State!! When I was having really bad day with them I would beg a worker to take them for the weekend!! Of course I would tell them that who ever took them would be hunting me down and begging me to take them back in a big hurry!! I am envious of the harley!! My goal is to own one!! It will come someday...2 in college right now though. And being in Maine the riding weather is very short and unpredicitable.
