He is going in for IT, there was a opening that they called him about a couple of weeks ago, but he wants to try to wait until after the holidays and work on more conditioning before going in.

Hi, Myra, and welcome to Indiana Moms!

I'm only a one-year resident of the Hoosier State, so just where is Goshen? If you're near (or willling to drive) the northern parts, there's an informal state-wide gathering for dinner in Warsaw (not far from South Bend) on October 10. Just click on that date on the Events calendar in the right-hand column for all the details.

There's also a monthly informal dinner in Avon (on the west side of Indy) which meets on third Mondays. Click on Oct 19 for those details.

I think we're a pretty nice bunch of folks and hope you enjoy your stay with us. We're always willing to lend an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on. Hugs! k.

My son is going to be 22 on the 22nd of this month...in since Aug 2006. Nuke MM assigned to a sub, but the sub has been in dry dock since he got to the fleet...so he has never been to sea. Keep watching the Indiana site...gatherings are announced and then placed on the calendar. We try to get together quarterly. You probably are not close enough to the west side of Indianapolis to join us for dinner the 3rd Monday night of each month. I drive the two hours, because I enjoy getting together with the other 'mom's', but not everyone can do this.
