In his last letter, he told me that they "may be" changes his order after PIR. He was supposed to report to Pensacola right after PIR. His last letter said that he may be staying in GL for 7 weeks for SpecalOp training??? And then on to Pensacola. It's really hard when there are no phones calls to verify what's going on up to this point!! I have been getting my mail on Thursdays from him, so hopefully there will be some kind of updates :) They call my son "Rock" did they give your son a "nickame?" Jason has mentioned a few "nicknames" in his letters. Also, he's on the Drill Team (Rifle Squad), what is your son's "job" in the division?? I've been praying for all of us to receive a call :)
Tammy
how are you? Yesterday was hard but I'm doing ok today; Didn't receive my "official" call he called when they landed in Chicago. His recruiter told them that PIR would be bumped up to the 19. I think that is so much better than the day after Christmas. Talk to you soon,
Hope you did ok yesterday. We're here if you need anything.
My son leaves the day after your son. I hope the next two weeks are smooth sailing for both of you. I'm just having a hard time with how fast the time is passing. Hang in there.
We are so glad you are here and look forward to hearing about your sailor This is is a great support group or all of you from boot camp to the fleet.
What is your sailor doing with the navy?
