PIR 9/3
Last night in GL. Just getting things all packed up and ready to head back home. It's gonna be a sad ride back home. Was a great Graduation! Ive never seen anything like that in person. It was awesome to see all the sailors dressed in their whites and there were soo many of them! We are very proud of our sailors!

Anyone know of someone in DIV 306 Ship 14??
My husband left july 10 for GL. My mother in law just recieved a phone call from him. She said it sounded like it was scripted! But he got to say call dani and tell her! I'm glad he got his call! Makes me feel better. Woulda been really nice to hear his voice at least. I miss him soo much. Our son keeps me going thru the days though. I don't know what id do with out him and my job! I gave in and couldnt' wait any longer and called the recruiter today and asked for his address. I got it and am ju… Continue

- Hi! ! I have been thinking about dropping you a line and wondering if you had made it to CT yet! I am so glad you were able to get there before the baby comes! Have you found a doctor and all that already? Are you living right on base? Thats great that you will be having a nice big Thanksgiving, but you may want to make some of those guys help you in the kitchen or you'll be on your feet all day ! ; ) Michael has been classed up for about a week or so I think...he has class from 6 pm to midnght and he hates that, said he is having a hard time managing his time but starting to get used to it. Sounds like this school is much harder than BESS was, more academic and just harder work in general. Remind me again, what is Jesse's rate? michael is ET-NAV. It is so good to hear from you, keep in touch! Are you going anywhere for Christmas?

- Yeah, Michael told me about the guys with booze. He was so frustrated about that...just that somebody being an idiot can mess things up for the rest of them. But that's how it works! Yes, he bought a car. The one he had here really wasn't worth getting up there...lol. Its not new or anything, its a 1995(or something around there) Explorer...he said he is gonna try to make some money being a designated driver, since he does not drink at all. He took a loan through the credit union and they have such great rates, it really helps.

- Hey there! How are you doing? I am sorry, for some reason I thought I had answered your last comment but now I see that I didn't! Any news about when you can move? I am sure you guys are missing each other like crazy! Michael is doing well, says sub school is basically pretty boring and they are all anxious to get into something more....not that the school is really boring its just that they sometimes leave them waiting for an instructor for hours at a time, just sitting! lol I told him, well it better than folding and refolding your underwear! LOL

- Oh yes I'm deff moving so we will have to meet up!! :) I know nobody out there besides my husband. We have a 5 year old son who misses his daddy!! He just started learning how to read and write his name and I feel so bad that Mike is missing this! I think I'm in for a big shock moving from Orange County,Ca to groton..lol Mike grads next Friday and I have him going to the housing office tomarrow to maybe get us a date!!

- Yes, all of Michael's is in Groton, too. I am so happy for you!! So isn't than sooner than you had expected to be able to move up there? That is awesome news!! I know very well what it is like to be a young family and having to be apart alot...When my husband & I were your age (we had Michael really young & then his sister Rachel right away) I was alone a lot because we were moving around alot, trying to find a good job for him and where was the best place for us to settle (we have family in NY, AL, GA, all over the place.) We were only about 20 and having to be apart all the time and it was so hard!!! I am so glad for you that you will be back together soon, and maybe even when the baby is born. Do you know what you are having? Michael told me the other day on the phone that he has gotten to hang around Jesse quite a bit lately and he is such a good guy. He is happy to have a lot of guys around that are older, and a little more mature than kids his age. ANyways, I am happy for you!!!
