- We had an absolutely wonderful time :) We mainly hung out in the hotel and listened to his bootcamp stories. We laughed so hard... the time went so fast. It felt so good just to be together. We did get out a little to see Chicago some. We went to the Sears Tower and the Navy Pier. We got Kevin a juicy steak at Ruth Chris. We went to Olive Garden and On the Border. We took him to Cracker Barrell for breakfast. Everyone treated him so kindly, with great respect. That took some getting used to for Kevin. We just couldn't believe the change in the way he carried himself---he has become a true gentleman in every since of the word and we are so very proud of him! The ride back to the base was extremely difficult. I have to fight the tears everytime I think of it. I felt like my heart was being ripped out all over again! I hope we get a call tomorrow. I really wish I could of met you. I am so thankful that our boys made it :)

- Your welcome :) Can't believe we are at 2 days! And they are in Battlestations as we speak! If you hear from Jeff before we hear from Kevin tomorrow, please tell him to tell Kevin to call g-mommy's house as soon as he can. We will be there as soon as I can get out of school (5:30-6pm) We will all be waiting for his call. Oh, I'm so excited I feel like I'm gonna just jump out of my skin!!!

Thank you so much for telling me that! I have been praying all the time it seems! I had the tug in my heart to pray for their health unknowingly. I have already prayed very specifically on our prayer group for bootcamp and will continue to lift them up. I'm so so sorry to hear about this news! But, I have faith to know that God is in control and I trust HE will pull them through.
Did you get a call or a letter??? Is Kevin ok now??? or does he still have pneumonia! {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{ {navy hugs and prayers to you}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

My son daniel is on hold waiting for A school, he is really sikc, you know, when one gets it, they all do. I have send a care package filled with cold medcation and lots of cookies he requested such as cookies, brownies so on and so forth. He says, I sick Mom and I'm bored. I do my best to keep him positive and tell him things will get better soon.
You take care and tell Jeff that all the Navy Mom's love them all.

SO hopefully we get a call. He did say to that he passed all his test last week. So now hopefully the ugly PFA thing is all behind him. I think they have to take it one more time though. How are you doing?
We all have the Crud here... Hopefully it is all gone before we leave for CHicago. Can you believe its nearly 2 weeks away now? Can't get here soon enough. Take care
