Hi Ne55y, how is Phillip doing? Sorry i have not wrote my computer was down for a while. Ruben is doing great, he is recovering in San Diego, he is suppose to have physical therapy for his left arm and hand. Did Phillip got to sea with the George Washington? Ruben said that on the MRI he took after the injury, it show that almost all the blood vessels on the right side of his brain busted, he nearly died, God was watching over him. He is going to be in San Diego indiffinately. So now every weekend he comes home. I well be pray for Phillip and the other sailors to come home safely. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR PRAYERS WHEN RUBEN NEEDED THEM. God Bless.

Hi Ne55y, hopefully Ruben well be coming home in April, because the doctor said it would be to dangerous for him to fly right now. Ruben has some amazing friends, his friend JJ stayed with him the whole time, and when they sent him by ambulance to the hospital JJ was with him. JJ was the one who called me and told me he was in the hospital. I want to do something for JJ, but i don't know what yet. When i Thank JJ for being there for Ruben and keeping me informed, he told me it was the right thing to do. God Bless him. God Bless you and your family.

Hi Ne55y, how are you and your family doing? How is Phillip doing? Ruben told me that he didn't want me to see the video, because he was drunk. Oh well maybe it is not meant for me to see it. So you like visiting Indy? When is Phillip coming home? Ruben said he is coming home from March 20th to April 9th, he well be arriving at LAX. So it is not a whole month like i thought. My nephew Jay is going to drive me and Sammy to LAX, because i hate driving in LA, it is horrible, the traffic is real bad. Well i hope Phillip gets to come home soon. Well got to go now.

A Sailor Is A Gift

As we celebrate Christmas, and we open our gifts,
we realize what priceless gifts a sailor gives to our country-
the gifts of patriotism, service, and deep dedication to our nation.
As we feast on a variety of fine Christmas delicacies,
we acknowledge that a sailor personifies a variety of fine qualities:
courage, good character, honor, fortitude amidst hardship,
persistence in subduing evil, and bravery in the face of danger.
A sailor is a cut above the rest of us,
doing jobs we could not or wo… Continue

There are times when we all suffer

There are times when we all suffer,
When troubles never seem to end,
All kinds of sneaky problems,
That even Doctors can't mend.

There may be troubles in the family,
Our children fuss and strain,
Parents lose their patience,
And dark clouds roll in again.

Or maybe it's trouble at work,
Sometimes things just don't seem fair,
Someone gets upset and angry,
And we wonder why we're there.

Maybe there's been an accident,
That's taken a loved one's life,
We cry out, "O God, where are you?
Why do we… Continue

Good Morning my fellow Navy Moms!

I hope everyone had a wonderful week. My week was pretty hectic! I work at a sleep center and we had 2 people out on vacation this week so it was pretty busy, I'm glad it's Friday (even though I have to work at a after hours clinic tomorrow!). My son finally called me before his ship left Guam. He said that everyone was honored and excited about participating in RIMPAC. He said that he was informed that he will be flown over (by helicopter) to a Korean ship during the excersie, I'm pretty nervou… Continue

We survived the thunder storm!

WOW did we have the thunder and lightening last night! I was getting my hair cut and my girls were at home, a little scared cause the lights went out. It didn't last too long, by the time I got home the lights were back on and everyone was calmed down. I continue to pray for all those who lost their homes in the terrible storms in the Midwest, I hope this storm passed them by. I grew up in the Midwest and I remember the tornado's and storms we got out there. My daughter, Evelyn, is heading to a… Continue
